Maayan K sharpened his teeth at Screaming Eagle amongst other wineries, he is currently director of Winemaking for Philippe Melka. This is a passion project that sources from prime Vineyards from Santa Barbara. One of the best Pinot Noirs emerging in the last few years and certainly a masterpiece for Maayan. A feminine and elegant magenta core leads into a pink rim. A bounty of purple flowers and red roses is complimented by a freshly baked cherry pie a la mode with vanilla ice cream. A beautiful orchestra of cola, herbs and flowers finishes with a beautifully long and juicy finish.
2017 Royal Prince Pinot Noir Santa Maria Valley - $40 Value
Dave Wilson grew up around Napa wine history in the acclaimed Rancho Chimiles which his father planted. David has a long career as a vineyard manager, most recently heading the Pahlmeyer Winery. Valdiguie is an ancient variety with roots in Southern France that made a home in the Napa Valley formerly known as Napa Gamay. The structure is lively and complex with a juicy core, purple tone and stamina.
"Second-generation grape farmer Dave Wilson and his wife, Christine, who grew up among the vines of the Sierra Foothills, make fresh, fun wines from vineyards across the state. His Public Radio release has it all from a rich, bold and fruity attack to lush tannins and a memorable finish.
"Roasted pork, nutmeg, vanilla and mulberry aromas show on the nose of this blend of 64% Grenache, 27% Syrah and 9% Petite Sirah, part of Napa winemaker Josh Phelps' new venture. He sharpened his skills at Piero Antinori's Estate in Napa Valley, Antica which served as a springboard for his successful winemaking career. This cool climate Syrah from West Block in Sonoma offers layers of dark fruit and fresh cracked black pepper that rivals Syrah's Rhone's ancestors.

High energy and focused french born Alexandre Remy has worked in cellars in Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina and even made wine for the Caves de Tain cooperative in Hermitage. with a master degree in Food Science from the University of Montpellier he's brought all his knowledge to this program. He crafts wines that are both lush, intellectual and accessible and the Omen Red is no exception.

Born in the town of Pisa in Tuscany Marco was exposed and inspired by Wine growing up. His dream took him to Napa where he formally trained in winemaking and gained experience at Laird Vineyards, Threfethen and Judds Hill Winery to later fulfill his passion in Buelton. His wines are a true expression on the terroir with his seamless integration of winemaking and this wine is no exception. A blend of CS, Merlot and PV from the rolling hill nested Vogelzang vineyard showcases Marco's potential.
