In 25 years of trekking up and down the sun-drenched hills of Tuscany, we’ve learned that Vernaccia di San Gimignano is much more than a scintillating wine of crisp acidity and delicate floral aromatics. It’s a labor of love; it’s going the extra mile; it’s what’s true of Tuscany.

Vernaccia is naturally low-yielding and requires abundant work in the vineyard to cultivate, but when properly handled, it can deliver a character all its own — a snapshot of the small town of San Gimignano, with its 14 medieval towers dotting the skyline.

The 2015 Poderi Arcangelo Vernaccia di San Gimignano is a shining example of all that the grape, and the landscape, has to offer. Grown in sandy soils — where Vernaccia thrives — by third-generation winegrower Sandra Mora, the 2015 is pale straw-yellow in the glass, showing peach, grapefruit, honey, and floral aromas. The palate is pure and elegant, zesty and crisp, finishing long with a characteristic hint of bitter almond.

A beautiful wine, inside and out, including the price. Just $15.99/bottle. Shipping included on 6.
