With dairy farming in my family's history and having lived in rural Wisconsin for the first 21 years and counting of my life, it's no surprise where my passion for photography leads me. I would always search the internet when I was younger for the best farm related pictures I could find. Now, with the help of my Sony camera, I try to capture the best and most creative scenes possible. The challenge I try to complete every time is taking something ordinary and finding a way to make it extraordinary. When I take a road trip, my camera is almost always riding shotgun just in case.

My story starts about two years ago when I purchased my first point & shoot Sony camera. After 8000 pictures, I wanted something better. I never considered anything other than a Sony and settled on purchasing the new a6500. After a few months of use, I can say that I love the quality of photos I am able to take and the lightweight mirrorless cameras from Sony are never too heavy to carry around. I haven't had a chance to use the 4k video yet, but I can't wait to give it a shot.

The most rewarding part of my hobby is when I see a smile from someone when they see my work. I share some of my work with the local newspaper for others to enjoy. I also give those special prints to the farmers in my neighborhood to display in their shops. To me, it has never been about the money, it's about the smiles that appear on the faces of others that drive me to always get better.

Thanks for allowing me to share my story. Find me on Instagram and Facebook as well and as I always say ENJOY!
