Mistakes I’ve have made & learned from my three years of app development

They say if you don’t fail you don’t grow. And I’ve learned that the hard way. By profession, I am a computer developer and luckily my passion is the same.

I started developing apps three years ago. And since then I’ve developed tons of mobile apps. And in that journey, I’ve made mistakes. Here, I am willing to share these mistakes and save a couple of mobile app developers from making the same mistakes.

You’re late in the party

There is the right time for everything. Even for building mobile apps. If you follow any renowned mobile app development company you’ll notice that they are doing the right things at the right time.

Let me correct you here. There is no such thing as ‘right time’ for this digital age. If you have a good idea for an app, go build that. No need to ask your friends and family for the support. Just do it for the people that are following you and expect you to give something of value to them.

The memory leaks

This problem is common among the Android mobile apps. No matter how much hard you try, there are still few apps that can make you think like your app is taking too much of the memory.

You need to rethink if your app is taking too much of the memory. You need to take care of the memory and rethink of everything that is taking too much of your memory.

Take care of the crashes

The most important thing that mobile app development company need to take care of is the crashes they have in their apps. If your app is crashing a lot, it means you need to take care of it.

No. The users will not point out the crashes, instead, they will shift to another app. You need to figure this out yourself and take care of the crashes yourself.

Most of the time the crashes are due to a lot of data that is being called off, you need to take care of that. You need to make sure that the data you’re doing is not exceeding the limit of the app.

If it is, you need to take care of it. Plan things in ways that make your app light and user-friendly.

Not being friends with the app store

You need to read all the requirements for the app store. You cannot take the luxury of making things up by yourself without worrying about what the app store thinks about your app. It is your app, you need to think about it. No one else will think about your app like you do.

You need to cater the needs of both App Store and Google Play store. In this way, you will not be needing to think about anything else.

To conclude it all

You don’t need to worry about anything else. If you just follow the thing mentioned in this blog, you will be able to make the right decisions at the right time. This is what you need to focus on: to learn from your mistake and prepare for the new ones every day.
