I love the outdoors and we live in a wooded area.  I hear the owls all of the time and have occasionally seen them fly by.  I was able to capture the mom and baby on 2 different occassions with my Sony dsc h400.  I could not keep my hand from shaking and missed the top of the head of the mother owl.
