Adding Maker's new domain to your referral exclusion list

1. Add to your snippet code

Please ask someone from your dev team to make the following changes and additions to the GA snippet every place your GA tracking ID appears on your site (the changes you need to make are in bold red text):

ga('create', 'UA-ZZZZZZ-Y', 'auto', {'allowLinker': true});

ga('require', 'linker');

ga('linker:autoLink', ['', ''] );

Note: "UA-ZZZZZZ-Y" will show your GA tracking ID.

2. Add as a referral traffic source in your GA account

One of your marketing team members can handle this step. Make sure you're signed-in to your Google Analytics account. Click on the Admin icon again in the menu bar at the bottom of any page.

In the ACCOUNT column, use the dropdown menu to select the account of the site you're linking with Maker.

In the PROPERTY column, use the dropdown to select a property. Once your property is selected, click Tracking Info, then Referral Exclusion List:

Click +ADD REFERRAL EXCLUSION, and add and click Create to save.

3. Let us test

Once you've finished both steps, let us know so we can test it out. We'll be in touch in case any additional updates are needed.
