I like to capture moments and leave them untouched in post as much as possible. I don't take photos so I can edit them heavily later, I take them the best that I can in the moment, or I'm not doing my job right.
There is a smile people put on when you take photos of them, it can all seem, very artificial at times. There is another type of smile you see, a smile that reads "happiness", you can see it in their eyes. Sony has a phrase in many of their ads saying "The Power of the Moment", It truly is just that.
When you have a burst mode like the one of the Sony a6300, you can capture these in-between moments, these genuine expressions, and that is something I am passionate about.
I also love meeting people from various places and knowing their story, also I love capturing moments like the ones you see in these photos of people who may be typically awkward in front of a camera. I have met many people in the last few years and here are some of their genuine smiles.
