This fall, we are proud to introduce a collaboration with famed socio-environmental advocate Céline Cousteau. Céline’s most recent project is a documentary film titled Tribes on the Edge which focuses on the human-nature relationship of the 4,000 indigenous people from six tribes living in the Amazon’s Vale do Javari. It is estimated that there are an additional 1,500 people living in the valley who are referred to as uncontacted.

Céline’s goal is to educate an international community about the indigenous people and biodiverse ecosystem in the Amazon, to bring support to entities working on the ground, and to empower the tribes to govern their own fate.
