Chinese Importers in February 2021 dropped off all the plans to import Australian Wine from Australia due to the latest anti-China Policy launched by the Scott Morrison Government. Indeed, the anti-dumping duties also cleared up the pathway for on-growing Chile Import Data to develop import-export relationships with China. According to Cybex.in Australian Export Data exposed a high-end decline in the exports of Australian Wine to China. Although, the total Australia Export to China is in surplus. The surplus has amounted to $72.7 Billion.

According to the past few reports, China and Australia’s foreign trade data has been suffering since 2020. One of the major reasons behind such tension between the countries has been USA’s Government anti-China Campaign earlier implemented by Donald Trump, the United States' former president. It can be said that in order to relink with the United States, Scott Morrison also shook hands with Donald Trump for abandoning China. Thus, China is eying new countries which can export Australian Wine. Chile holds the highest potential to be reached by China Importers during the forthcoming festival season.

Not only this, but in the upcoming months, China is expecting to face challenges from Australian exporters. The country may also bring an end to the exports of iron ore. The reason being, improved prices of iron ore have improved the supply. Yet, the demand is little. Even then, Australia might be planning to shut down all its foreign trade relationships with China.

In early 2020, Chinese Importers had a light impression of Australia backing up in the context of exporting Australian Wine. Given that, 2019-2020, Australian wine export to China had dropped by 29%, i.e.., 96 million litres only. This also created a 14% decline in the total foreign trade of Australian Wine.

However, China also took mandatory actions such as raising temporary deposit tariffs equivalent to 212% of the actual trade expected in mid-2020. It created unavoidable financial challenges in front of the Australian Wine importers in China. Thus, it left Chinese importers nothing but look for new and diversifying sources.

One of the significant challenges falls onto the shoulders of wine lovers in China during the Spring Festival. People in China can no longer gift Australian Wine to their valued clientele, family members, and friends.

According to Chen from the Shishun International Trade Co, it expects to build up import-export relationships with Spain, Italy, and Chile. Thus, to keep an eye on the upscaling Chile Export data, subscribe to Cybex.in
